DHI Scotland’s Clinic Director, Mr. George Kottaridis, the Clinic Manager Alex Kottaridis and the Medical Director Epameinondas Bonaros attended the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery - 26th World Congress in Hollywood, California.
One of the main topics in the ISHRS congress was the black market hair transplants with very bad results and disputable practices especially in Turkey. Hair transplant patients are being lured to black market pirate clinics across the world, at an alarming rate. They are promised low prices and guaranteed results. Unfortunately, these ‘clinics’, where surgeries are performed by non-doctors with little or no training, are causing irreparable harm. ISHRS members warn consumers to do all necessary research prior to surgery and to find a doctor in which you can verify their credentials. Your safety and well-being are at risk if you don’t do your homework.
At DHI Scotland the whole hair transplant procedure is performed by GMC Registered doctors trained and certified by the DHI Hair Restoration Academy of London, the one and only Academy in the world in hair restoration, and under strict DHI Quality Standardization Protocols that we have set up to ensure great results every time.
DHI Scotland was awarded as the best clinic for 2018 by the International Medical Travel Awards and by the Scottish Beauty Industry Awards. It is also a member of DHI Global Medical Group, with 48 years of experience, 69 clinics worldwide and more than 210 thousand satisfied patients.
