DHI Scotland is registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland which regulates independent hospitals, hospices and clinics in Scotland. H.I.S. ensures that healthcare services are meeting the required standards of care, that good practice is identified and areas for improvement are addressed. H.I.S. regulate independent healthcare by inspecting services to ensure that they comply with standards and regulations. Their team of inspectors check independent healthcare services regularly, using announced and unannounced inspections using an open and transparent method for inspecting and reporting on findings, using standardised processes.
